Accuracy is fundamental to our mission. If you find an error on any GetLocalVerified page, we want to know about it.

How to Report an Error

Email corrections to hello@getlocalverified.com with subject line "Correction: [Page Name]". Include:

  • The specific page URL
  • The incorrect information
  • The correct information with a source or evidence
  • Your relationship to the listing (if any)

What We Correct

  • Factual errors (wrong address, phone number, website)
  • Certification status changes (newly certified, expired, revoked)
  • Business closures or relocations
  • Incorrect tier assignments with supporting evidence
  • Outdated pricing or service information

What We Don't Change on Request

  • Tier rankings based on disagreement with our methodology
  • Requests to remove accurate negative information (documented complaints, expired certifications)
  • Requests to add businesses without verifiable credentials
  • Paid placement or priority listing requests

Response Timeline

  • Acknowledgment: within 5 business days of receiving your report
  • Investigation: we verify the correction against primary sources
  • Update: corrections are published within 14 business days

If we cannot verify a reported error, we will explain why.
